As an Interior Designer, I wanted to create a yoga mat that embodied beauty and serenity. being sensitive to aesthetics, I felt that an organic floral design would bring grounding energy to your yoga practice. I have been practicing yoga for seven years, and have found that for me, yoga cultivates an amazing mind/body connection. In designing our yoga mat for children, I wanted to capture the wonder of being a small child. My son, Alex, in the summer months wuld spend hours outside digging in the rose bushes and finding all kinds of wonderful bugs. He was my inspiration for creating the Buggy yoga mat for children. We hope these mats will put a smile on your face as you look at the silly bugs in yoga poses. Maybe all along they've been doing yoga in the world of nature!
